Description

Baked Cranberry Brie is an elegant, easy appetizer featuring warm, melty brie topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and crunchy nuts, perfect for holidays or entertaining.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel (225 g) brie cheese
  • 150 g cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 50 g chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
  • 1 baguette or crackers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Place the brie wheel in a small oven-safe baking dish.
  3. Spread cranberry sauce evenly over the top of the brie.
  4. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the cranberry layer.
  5. Sprinkle chopped nuts and fresh herbs on top.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the brie is soft and gooey inside.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with sliced baguette or crackers.

Notes

  • Do not remove the rind—it helps hold the cheese together.
  • Serve immediately for best texture.
  • Walnuts, almonds, or pistachios also work well.
  • Can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
