Description
Baked Cranberry Brie is an elegant, easy appetizer featuring warm, melty brie topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce and crunchy nuts, perfect for holidays or entertaining.
Ingredients
- 1 wheel (225 g) brie cheese
- 150 g cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 50 g chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)
- 1 baguette or crackers (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Place the brie wheel in a small oven-safe baking dish.
- Spread cranberry sauce evenly over the top of the brie.
- Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the cranberry layer.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts and fresh herbs on top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the brie is soft and gooey inside.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Serve warm with sliced baguette or crackers.
Notes
- Do not remove the rind—it helps hold the cheese together.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
- Walnuts, almonds, or pistachios also work well.
- Can be assembled ahead and baked just before serving.
