Description

Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are a sweet, fluffy, and indulgent breakfast treat that combines the best of two favorites — gooey cinnamon rolls and golden French toast. Bite-sized, caramelized, and drizzled with icing, they’re perfect for brunches, holidays, or a fun weekend breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 1 (12.4 oz) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing packet)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for cooking)
  • Optional toppings: maple syrup, powdered sugar, or extra icing drizzle

Instructions

  1. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Cut each one into quarters for bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Dip the cinnamon roll pieces into the egg mixture, coating them completely.
  4. Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt the butter.
  5. Add the coated cinnamon roll pieces in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the pan and place on a serving platter.
  7. Warm the icing packet (included with the cinnamon rolls) slightly in the microwave for a few seconds, then drizzle over the cooked bites.
  8. Serve immediately with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or extra cinnamon if desired.

Notes

  • For a crispier texture, bake the cinnamon roll bites at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes after pan-frying.
  • Want to make it extra special? Add chopped pecans or a cream cheese drizzle on top.
  • Use homemade or store-bought cinnamon rolls — both work great!
  • Perfect for serving with fresh fruit, bacon, or coffee for a balanced breakfast spread.
