Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook macaroni according to package instructions.
- Add broccoli florets during the last 2 minutes of cooking, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg if using.
- Stir in cooked macaroni, broccoli, and cheddar cheese until well combined and creamy.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until cheese is fully melted and everything is heated through.
- Serve hot.

- For extra creaminess, add an extra splash of milk.
- Grilled chicken or shrimp can be added for protein.
