Description
A comforting pasta dish made with tender chicken, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, and fettuccine noodles for a rich and flavorful dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 12 oz fettuccine pasta
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 6–8 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
- Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, 4–5 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss until well coated in sauce.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use penne, spaghetti, or linguine if you prefer different pasta shapes.
- For added flavor, stir in spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
- Leftovers reheat best with a splash of milk or cream.
