Description

A comforting pasta dish made with tender chicken, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, and fettuccine noodles for a rich and flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook 6–8 minutes, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
  6. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, 4–5 minutes.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss until well coated in sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use penne, spaghetti, or linguine if you prefer different pasta shapes.
  • For added flavor, stir in spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Leftovers reheat best with a splash of milk or cream.
