Description

Tender baby potatoes coated in a rich and creamy garlic sauce, perfect as a comforting side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add baby potatoes and cook until fork-tender, about 12–15 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Add cooked potatoes to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy garlic sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, roast the potatoes before tossing them in the sauce.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Pairs perfectly with grilled chicken, steak, or roasted vegetables.
