Description

A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender steak strips coated in creamy ranch sauce, tossed with mozzarella, and finished with a savory garlic butter blend.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak strips with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and ranch dressing; whisk until smooth.
  6. Add Parmesan and stir until sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Stir in mozzarella until melted and creamy.
  8. Add cooked pasta and steak back into the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  9. Simmer 1–2 minutes to meld flavors.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Use chicken instead of steak for a lighter protein option.
  • Reserve some pasta water in case you want to thin the sauce.
  • Freshly grated mozzarella melts more smoothly than pre-shredded.
