Description

Rich and chewy nut bars made with dark chocolate, almonds, cashews, and pecans, topped with flaky sea salt for the perfect balance of sweet and salty.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans)
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips or chunks
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt (plus extra for topping)


Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  4. Fold in mixed nuts until evenly coated.
  5. Pour mixture into prepared dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle extra flaky sea salt on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Cut into bars and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
