Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in uncooked rice, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
- Transfer mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes, until rice is tender.
- Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
