Description

A decadent fusion of two classic desserts – fudgy brownies layered with creamy mascarpone filling and dusted with cocoa powder for a tiramisu-inspired treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on package)
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granules dissolved in 2 tbsp hot water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)


Instructions

  1. Prepare brownie batter according to package instructions. Bake in a 9×13-inch pan as directed and let cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, beat mascarpone, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and dissolved coffee until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into mascarpone mixture.
  4. Spread the mascarpone cream evenly over the cooled brownies.
  5. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
  6. Chill for at least 2 hours for best texture, then slice into squares.

Notes

  • For extra tiramisu flavor, brush cooled brownies lightly with espresso before adding cream layer.
