Description

A healthy frozen dessert inspired by Snickers bars — made with bananas, peanut butter, chocolate, and nuts. Perfect for a guilt-free, refreshing treat that satisfies your sweet cravings.


Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 1 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Sea salt for sprinkling (optional)


Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. Place half of the banana slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Spread about 1/2 teaspoon of peanut butter on each banana slice.
  4. Top each with another banana slice to make a sandwich.
  5. Freeze for 30–45 minutes until firm.
  6. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  7. Dip each frozen banana sandwich into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.
  8. Place the coated bites back on the parchment-lined tray and sprinkle chopped peanuts and sea salt on top.
  9. Freeze again for 1–2 hours or until fully set.
  10. Serve directly from the freezer and enjoy!

  • You can use almond butter or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
