Description

A savory and healthy one-pan Garlic Cauliflower Mushroom Skillet, packed with tender cauliflower florets, earthy mushrooms, and aromatic garlic. This quick and easy recipe is perfect as a low-carb main or a flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free option)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes until they release moisture and begin to brown.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.
  5. Cover the skillet and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cauliflower is tender but not mushy.
  6. Stir in soy sauce or tamari and cook for another minute to coat everything evenly.
  7. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add spinach, zucchini, or bell peppers for extra veggies.
  • Use tamari or coconut aminos for a gluten-free and vegan option.
  • Pairs well with grilled chicken, tofu, or rice.
