Ingredients
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free option)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the mushrooms and cook for 4–5 minutes until they release moisture and begin to brown.
- Add the cauliflower florets, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Cover the skillet and cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cauliflower is tender but not mushy.
- Stir in soy sauce or tamari and cook for another minute to coat everything evenly.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice.
