Description
Garlic Steak Tortellini is a rich and savory pasta dish made with tender steak bites, cheese-filled tortellini, and a buttery garlic sauce finished with Parmesan for a comforting, restaurant-style meal.
Ingredients
- 450 g beef steak (sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 350 g cheese tortellini
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 120 ml heavy cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steak pieces with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Add steak to the skillet and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
- Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return steak to the skillet along with cooked tortellini and toss to coat evenly.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcook the steak to keep it tender.
- You can substitute chicken for steak if preferred.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
