Description

A rich and savory garlic butter steak tortellini dish combining tender seared steak with cheesy tortellini in a creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cheese tortellini
  • 300g steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak slices with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir and let simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Return the steak to the skillet and mix well with the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked tortellini and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor.
  • Do not overcook the steak to keep it tender.
  • You can substitute cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
