Description

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared sponge cake or pound cake, cubed
  • 2 cups mixed fresh fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, bananas)
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding or custard
  • 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice or light syrup (optional, for soaking)
  • Optional garnish: mint leaves or extra fruit


Instructions

  1. Cut cake into bite-sized cubes.
  2. If using, lightly drizzle cake cubes with fruit juice or syrup.
  3. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer cake cubes on the bottom.
  4. Spread a layer of vanilla pudding over the cake.
  5. Add a layer of mixed fresh fruit.
  6. Top with a layer of whipped cream.
