Description

Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Fries are crispy fries topped with tender beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted cheese, inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 700 g frozen French fries
  • 450 g beef sirloin or flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 200 g shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
  • 100 g cheese sauce (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and bake French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced beef, season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add bell peppers and onions and sauté until soft and lightly caramelized.
  5. Return cooked beef to the skillet and toss with the vegetables.
  6. Spread cooked fries on a serving platter or baking tray.
  7. Top fries evenly with the beef and vegetable mixture.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and drizzle with cheese sauce if using.
  9. Place under the broiler for 3–5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
