Description
Million Dollar Chicken Bake is a creamy, cheesy, and ultra-rich baked chicken dish made with juicy chicken breasts smothered in a luxurious mixture of cream cheese, bacon, cheddar, and mayonnaise. It’s easy to make, full of flavor, and truly tastes like a million bucks!
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- Cooking spray or butter, for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish in a single layer. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, covering each one completely.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the topping is bubbly and golden.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Garnish with extra green onions or crumbled bacon if desired, and serve warm with rice, pasta, or a side salad.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken and bake the topping as a casserole for a shortcut version.
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for 30 minutes before baking.
- Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
- Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
