Description

Million Dollar Chicken Bake is a creamy, cheesy, and ultra-rich baked chicken dish made with juicy chicken breasts smothered in a luxurious mixture of cream cheese, bacon, cheddar, and mayonnaise. It’s easy to make, full of flavor, and truly tastes like a million bucks!

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Cooking spray or butter, for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish in a single layer. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, covering each one completely.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the topping is bubbly and golden.
  6. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Garnish with extra green onions or crumbled bacon if desired, and serve warm with rice, pasta, or a side salad.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken and bake the topping as a casserole for a shortcut version.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Italian dressing for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
  • Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
