Description

A quick and flavorful Mongolian-inspired dish made with savory ground beef, tender noodles, and a rich garlic soy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 250g ground beef
  • 200g noodles (spaghetti or lo mein)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and hoisin sauce. Mix well.
  5. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked noodles and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
