Description
A classic no-bake dessert inspired by the flavors of a banana split, featuring a graham cracker crust, creamy filling, fresh fruit, and chocolate topping.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar (for filling)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups whipped topping (or whipped cream)
- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the cream mixture evenly over the crust.
- Layer sliced bananas evenly over the cream layer.
- Spread drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts if using and garnish with cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Ensure pineapple is well drained to prevent a soggy cake.
- Add bananas just before chilling to reduce browning.
- Best served chilled.
