Description
A creamy and indulgent layered dessert made with a peanut butter cookie crust, rich peanut butter cream, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping – all without baking.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) package peanut butter sandwich cookies (like Nutter Butters), crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (16 oz) container whipped topping, divided
- 2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix crushed peanut butter cookies with melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Chill for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping. Spread mixture evenly over the crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Spread over peanut butter layer.
- Top with remaining whipped topping and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chopped peanuts on top for garnish.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add a layer of chopped Reese’s cups or crushed pretzels between layers.
- Best served chilled – keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
- Can be made a day ahead for convenience.
