Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) egg noodles
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Extra butter or cheese to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter with olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (do not brown).
- Stir in the chicken and chicken broth. Cook for 3–4 minutes until heated through.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss well to coat them in the buttery sauce.
- Sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese melts and the noodles are evenly coated.
- Taste and adjust seasonings, adding more butter or broth if desired for extra richness.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
