Description
A sweet and spicy flatbread pizza topped with melty cheese, savory meats, and a drizzle of hot honey for the perfect balance of flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 store-bought naan or flatbreads
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded fontina or provolone cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken or pepperoni slices
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small jalapeño, sliced (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 tbsp hot honey
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place flatbreads on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over each flatbread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and fontina cheese on top.
- Add chicken or pepperoni, red onion, and jalapeño slices.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and drizzle generously with hot honey.
- Sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
- Hot honey can be made at home by mixing honey with chili flakes or hot sauce.
- Try with goat cheese or ricotta for a creamier texture.
- Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven for maximum crispiness.
