Description
A quick and flavorful seafood recipe featuring juicy shrimp sautéed in garlic butter sauce and tossed with pasta for a restaurant-quality meal at home.
Ingredients
- 350 g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 300 g pasta (linguine or spaghetti)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 120 ml cooking cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink.
- Reduce heat and stir in cooking cream and lemon juice.
- Add Parmesan cheese and mix until sauce is smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Cook for 2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
- You may substitute cream with milk for a lighter sauce.
- Add spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra color and nutrition.
- Best served fresh.
