Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground halal beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let soak for 2 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently.
  3. Form mixture into evenly sized meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
  5. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the meatballs.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
  7. Once cooked, gently stir to coat meatballs in sauce.
  8. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired. Serve warm.
