Description

Slow Cooker Mississippi Mini Sausages Delight is a crowd-pleasing appetizer made with cocktail sausages simmered in a rich, tangy, buttery sauce with ranch and pepperoncini flavors — perfect for game days, potlucks, or easy entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cocktail sausages (such as Little Smokies)
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 6-8 pepperoncini peppers
  • 2 tbsp pepperoncini juice (from the jar)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place the cocktail sausages into the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the sausages.
  3. Add pepperoncini peppers and drizzle in the pepperoncini juice.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar, black pepper, and garlic powder on top.
  5. Slice the butter into pieces and place evenly over the mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or on HIGH for 1.5–2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  7. Once heated through and the sauce is thickened, switch the slow cooker to the WARM setting for serving.
  8. Serve directly from the slow cooker or transfer to a serving dish with toothpicks for easy appetizers.
