Description
A copycat version of Taco Bell Fiesta Potatoes featuring crispy seasoned potatoes topped with warm nacho cheese sauce and cool sour cream, perfect as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 700 g potatoes, peeled and diced into small cubes
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) or prepare an air fryer.
- Place diced potatoes in a bowl and toss with vegetable oil, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy. Alternatively, air fry at 200°C (400°F) for 15–18 minutes.
- Heat the nacho cheese sauce according to package instructions.
- Transfer the crispy potatoes to a serving dish.
- Drizzle warm nacho cheese sauce over the potatoes.
- Top with sour cream and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes and dry thoroughly before seasoning.
- You can substitute vegan cheese and sour cream for a dairy-free version.
- Adjust spice levels by adding cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
