Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sour cream, chopped cilantro, sliced green onions
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in onion and garlic and cook until softened.
- Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce; simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and cover until melted.
- Remove from heat and garnish with desired toppings before serving.
Notes
- Ground turkey can be used as a substitute for beef.
- Add jalapeños for extra heat.
