Description

Taco Spaghetti is a bold and comforting fusion dish that combines classic spaghetti with seasoned taco-style ground beef, tomatoes, and melted cheese for an easy family-friendly meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, chopped cilantro, sliced green onions


Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in onion and garlic and cook until softened.
  5. Add taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce; simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Sprinkle cheese over the top and cover until melted.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with desired toppings before serving.

Notes

  • Ground turkey can be used as a substitute for beef.
